Hair is a vital part of any show at London Fashion Week.
Damien Peers of Sasson created the styles for Edeline Lee’s show earlier this month.
For spring summer 2015 Edeline Lee’s collection took us on a stroll through a magical, cacophonous house of colour. Inspired by the process of restoring and decorating her Victorian house in East London, Edeline paid close consideration to the finish with use of colour, composition of space and attention to detail.
Graphic foiled stripes, fringes and effortless draped folds combined with wonderfully evocative colours created a structured yet feminine collection for the “future lady”.
The hair look created by Damien Peers, Creative Director at Sassoon, took on a simple yet modern feeling. The look focused on tousled waves which were swept back from the face and worn loose.
Commenting on the look, Damien says: “The hair for Edeline’s collection was about a chic and effortless dreaminess – pretty lengths were left soft and loose for a sultry yet care-free attitude.”

Apply a spray conditioner, such as Sassoon Professional, Halo Hydrate (£17.40) to retain sleekness and prevent hair from becoming frizzy. Wrap small sections of hair around a styling wand in different directions, this will ensure a loose, lived-in finish. Once you’ve curled every section and they have cooled, unclip and using the full length of your fingers and palms, rub down the mid-lengths and ends.
Finish with a light mist of Sassoon Professional, Motion Hold (£13.30) for flexible hold.
Top Tip: “Use a minimal amount of product – it’s more sensual,” says Damien.
