Leading luxury haircare brand, Neäl & Wølf, and salon haircare product distributor, Salon Promotions Ltd, in partnership with Concept Hair Magazine has launched the first Rising Star Awards, honouring the incredible work of student stylists.
Targeting schools and colleges exclusively, the prestigious awards will run throughout the 2021/22 academic year, ending 29th July 2022. One Rising Star winner will be announced at the end of each school term and awarded a special prize, tailored to help them flourish in their future careers.
Winners will secure a place on a Salon Promotions training course of their choice* and receive a sought-after Neäl & Wølf Pro Stylist Toolkit, which includes everything they need to make their mark in the hair industry.
How to Enter
To enter the Rising Star Awards, student stylists should create a knock-out hair look using at least one Neäl & Wølf product, then snap and share it on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter using #NWRisingStar. In the caption, entrants should detail the thoughts and inspiration behind their looks and how they achieved the final result. This is an opportunity to show off their skillset and creativity, so the more information provided, the better. Students should also make sure to tag @nealandwolf and list the Neäl & Wølf products used to achieve their finished look.
With a combined followership of over 50,000, Neäl & Wølf will re-share their favourite submissions across their social channels before judging and selecting the winner based on creativity of the concept as well as technical skill employed to deliver the final look.
Salon Promotion tutors can also nominate the brightest new talent by commenting on students’ win-worthy Instagram looks, tagging @nealandwolf and using #NWRisingStar.
Neil Capstick, founder of Neäl & Wølf, says: “At Neäl & Wølf, we strive for excellence by inspiring, developing and growing talented stylists and salons around the UK. The Rising Star Awards is an extension of our support to the industry and the ultimate celebration of the best future stylists – and we’re thrilled to recognise and reward them for their incredible work.”
* Excludes Colour Masters course.
