The team displayed creative brilliance through cutting and colouring demonstrations delivered in an effortless, succinct educational way. Sensuously precise haircuts, couture colour and a creative super-vision that is unmatched anywhere else in the world.
Each collection has an in depth theme that embraces fashion, street culture and socio economic trends, as well as drawing upon historical and contemporary references from the fields of photography, art and design.
ANDROGYNE – when boys and girls blend sartorial codes a decadent disruption takes place.
Stunning presentations were inspired by the cool riads and cabarets of 1930s Morocco, the street urchins and guttersnipes of Victorian London and the compelling figure of the fallen angel set to rise again in the new age of post-recession spirituality.
Iconic colour techniques using the concept of Shape & Balance, controlled foils and freehand colour create a natural yet strategic look. The disconnected hairlines, distorted edges, double edged fringes and pure one-length combine blood red and kohl black, white on white blonde and muted tones to form Androgyne.
Mark Hayes, International Creative Director says, “Salon Live is a fantastic arena for the International Creative Team to share with everyone our passion for excellence in this unique medium of hair as design. Our seminar not only inspires and motivates, but demonstrates cut & colour working in harmony to create a stylishly ambient hair landscape.”
